EW Enthusiasts,

The 2008 Electronic Warfare Symposium will be held 2-5 June at NAS Whidbey Island, WA. The EW Symposium is the premier forum for current developments in EW technology and operations around the globe. Speakers and attendees include both the operators at the tip of the spear and the EW experts that support them. This year's theme is "EW in Today’s Fight: MCO and GWOT." The 2-5 June dates are firm and an official message will be released shortly; as details become available they will be posted at: www.whidbeyroost.org

We are currently in the preliminary stages of soliciting speakers for the event. Please consider whether your unit/agency would be interested in presenting a brief at the symposium. We are interested in briefs presenting current and future EW technology and operations, while tying in with our focus this year on the role of EW in Major Combat Operations and in the Global War on Terror. The highest classification of the event will be SECRET/NOFORN so please tailor presentations accordingly. You may reply to me or my assistant (information below) with any responses, ideas or questions. I am casting a fairly wide net with this email, but the recipient list is not all-inclusive -- please forward to all others who may be interested in speaking.
